The only good thing about Conduit Gem after the many nerfs it had is the Gem of Focus upgrade, not as good as Pendulum but the second best due to the movement speed and damage increase on all abilties if you maintain the passive.Īvoid Archmage upgrade, its really bad after the nerfs, unless you want to nuke with Scylla or Nu Wa if you’re very good with them.Inevitably, death sends everyone to Hades, God of the Underworld. Then there is Alternate Timeline which is very helpful if you reached late and you’re focused hard/tend to tie a lot.

Plus you have better upgrades, Pendulum of Ages for 20% cdr and the biggest power increase from a starter, allowing you to hit like a truck in late with ALL abilities and not only one(in Archmage Gem’s case). With Conduit you will lack power(if you go Shoes of Focus) if not, you will lack cdr and have more mana issues. Sands of Time allows you to get Shoes of Magi which in the end will mean more damage in early due to a total bonus of 25 more power(20 from Magi and 5 from Sands) beating Conduit’s passive on almost all mages.
